Stephanie Maring
Assistant Coach

Steph enters her first season on the staff of her alma mater.  Steph will bring a wealth of softball knowledge to the program and is full of energy: “she will have a chance to pay forward what she has learned to our young players."  Playing four years for the Green Terror, she anchored the infield for the Green Terror at first base becoming one of the top defensive players in the conference, Steph also helped her team capture two playoff appearances, along with the 2012 Conference Championship and NCAA Regional Berth.  A 2014 McDaniel graduate earned her degree’s Psychology and Education: she is currently a teacher in the Carroll County Public Schools. She will served as our GTSB Summer camp & clinic director, recruiting as well as be responsible infielders, base running and assist with the Green Terror hitters.


Tiffani Smith
Coach

Tiffani is enters her third season as the Green Terror Pitching Coach.  The former Big South Conference Pitcher of the Year and two time Team Captain at Liberty University help the Terror pitching staff that led the conference for the third straight season with a team ERA of 1.54.  While pitching for the Liberty Flames, she gardener three All-Conference honors, All-State honors and All NFCA Regional honors.  The 2011 graduate finished her career as the all-time strikeout leader in Liberty history while leading her team to a Big South Conference Championship and a NCAA Regional appearance in Knoxville, TN Region.  Tiffani will be responsible for the Green Terror Pitching Staff,  pitching camps/clinics as well as recruiting responsibilities.


Leigh Blohm
Coach

Leigh Blohm enters her second season on the staff of her alma mater.  Playing four years for the Green Terror behind the plate, Leigh helped her team capture two playoff appearances, along with the 2012 Conference Championship and NCAA Regional Berth.  A 2012 McDaniel graduate in Physics, she was awarded the Harry Clarry Jones Award for her work in the Physics Department.   "Leigh is a wonderful addition to our staff, she is a student of the game" – “Now she has a chance to work with our players and show them how to get things done the right way."  Leigh will work primary with the catchers, pitchers and handle recruiting responsibilities for the Green Terror.
